My birthday was such a special day! While Mike doesn't care too much for birthdays, I am the kind of person who will talk about it for two weeks in advance. Mike is such a sweetheart and makes sure that my birthday is fun because he knows it means a lot to me. While I had to do boring adult stuff for half of the day (like work and school) I was so pumped for the rest of the day. Mike decorated our apartment and made it all cutesy to the best of his man abilities :)
When I got home, we just chilled on the couch for a bit and Mike said, "Hey, I know you have been wanting to get a pedicure....lets go get one!" Sweeeet I was pumped. Off we go to the mall for a pedicure. The chinese man who gave me the pedicure told me I wiggled my toes too much and to 'stop doing dat'. Haha it was great.
Then my in laws came down to celebrate the rest of the evening with us - starting with dinner at PF Changs! Holy chinese food goodness, I love that place. We ate way too much but man it was so delicious! We even get free $10 gift cards. Score.
My sweet husband, in laws, and rest of my family sure did spoil me. They are the best! One of my faves was this massive king sized blanket that Mike got me which is incredibly soft. That is what I am holding in some of the pictures looking like an idiot. Now every night, Mike wants to do this weird thing call 'share' with my blanket? Pshh. Ya right!!
