Amy's Baby Shower

My sister-in-law lives in Phoenix so it was so great getting to see her and chat with her when she came up to Utah! I don't have any nieces or nephews yet so we are anxiously awaiting for baby Parker to get here. We can't wait to spoil him :)

We played the mandatory poopy-diaper-that-is-really-chocolate game which was....fun :) If you don't know what it is, it's where a bunch of different chocolate candy bars are melted and put into a diaper to make it look like poop. Then you pass them around and have to guess what candy bar it is. But here is the problem - i have the most sensitive gag reflex in the entire world. I legitimately gag at everything - Mike makes fun of me because I even gag when I am brushing my teeth. So I am trying to play this game in front of a bunch of people I don't know trying not to have a serious gag reaction. Haha let me just say it was interesting. The one picture of me smelling the diaper I was actually holding my breath so I wouldn't gag. Hahaha I am the worst.

Other than that, the baby shower was great ;) Amy is such a sweetheart and I am excited for Parker to join their family! They will be the best parents.
See you in January Parker!

Love at the Springville Art Museum

This couple was super easy to photograph - they are so in love and so cute together! The Springville Museum of Art was really beautiful and I totally loved taking pictures there. They are getting married in Alaska in December - holy cold. Best of luck Danny and Rachael!

Fall Scenes on the Alpine Loop

Saturday afternoon we drove up to American Fork Canyon to enjoy the beauty of the Alpine Loop trail.
(Bonus - since the government is shut down, you don't have to pay the entrance fee. Boo ya.)

Anywho, the view is u.n.r.e.a.l up there guys. You HAVE to go see it if you live in Utah! You should probably go soon though since it is towards the end of the season up there.

It was a perfect, bright, sunny saturday which just made it all the more beautiful. I love getting out and seeing the scenery of Utah and how beautiful God has made this world. While driving the trail, we pulled over just about every couple minutes so I could take yet another picture :) "Ooo Mike Mike Mike you gotta stop! I have to take a picture!" was probably said more than anything else haha. Sorry babe.

Also, I am clearly an amateur photographer so don't make too much fun of my pictures :)
The only editing I did to these pictures was I changed the lighting a bit in a few of them - other than that these are the true colors! Crazy huh!?
